Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to Pushlane. Pushlane is sold through Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record: your purchase contract for payment is concluded with Lemon Squeezy, which also processes any refund. This policy is the policy Lemon Squeezy applies on our behalf, and it operates alongside Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms. It is governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of customers who are consumers.
1. General rule — all sales are final
Subscription fees and any one-time fees are non-refundable, except where French or EU law makes a refund mandatory (see Sections 3 and 6). Your payment authorises immediate activation of the Service. We do not provide refunds for change of mind, non-use, under-use, or dissatisfaction once the Service has been made available.
2. Professionals and consumers
Pushlane is aimed primarily at professionals (companies and developers acting for business purposes). Between professionals, the consumer protections of the French Consumer Code — including the 14-day right of withdrawal — do not apply, so the “all sales final” rule in Section 1 applies in full.
If you purchase as a consumer (a natural person acting outside any business activity), you benefit from the statutory rights described in Section 3, which prevail over the general rule.
3. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Art. L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
However, because the Service is a digital service made available immediately, by subscribing you expressly request that performance begin before the end of the 14-day period and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun (Art. L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code). This express consent and acknowledgment are captured at checkout by Lemon Squeezy and confirmed on a durable medium. Accordingly, no withdrawal-based refund is due once the Service has been made available.
4. Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period, during which you keep access. We do not provide pro-rata refunds on cancellation, and we do not refund partial or unused billing periods. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date.
5. Evaluate before you pay
Where we offer a free tier or trial, it is there so you can evaluate the Service before committing. If a trial converts to a paid plan, cancel before the first charge to avoid being billed.
6. Service failure and non-excludable rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If we materially fail to provide the Service, the remedies for non-performance under the French Civil Code (Art. 1217 et seq.) remain available, and any applicable statutory guarantee for digital content and services continues to apply. These rights are unaffected by the general rule in Section 1.
7. Discretionary goodwill refunds
Any refund we grant beyond a legal obligation is entirely at our discretion, decided case by case. It creates no entitlement and sets no precedent, and it may be refused — in particular in cases of fraud, refund abuse, or chargeback manipulation.
8. How refunds are processed (Lemon Squeezy)
All payments, taxes, and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record, not directly by Pushlane. Refund and VAT-refund requests must be made through Lemon Squeezy and, for tax, within 60 days of purchase. Lemon Squeezy may, at its own discretion, issue a refund within 60 days of a purchase to prevent a chargeback; you may also raise a chargeback with your bank regardless of this policy. 9. Changes to this policy
We may amend this Refund Policy for future purchases. We will change the “Last updated” date above; the version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
